The studio is lovely, with lots of props and is nice and warm for baby!
Ellie was brilliant with our daughter, she really knows how to handle babies and soothe them to get them into the positions she wants for photos. Our little girl (13 days old) was very much awake which made it harder for those sleepy newborn shots, but Ellie worked around her, and gave us time to feed and change her to make her more comfortable.
After Ellie had got a number of shots, she asked us if we wanted any other specific shots before we finished our session. Nothing was too much hassle and it felt very relaxed.
We’ve only seen the sneak peek so far but based on that I know the photos are going to be amazing!”

I’ve had a fair few shoots with Ellie, some being professional at work & some being personal (newborn & family).
Ellie is so friendly and amenable, she makes you feel so relaxed and nothing is ever too much trouble. I had an idea that I wanted my little girl’s first birthday cake smash in the forest where I live rather than at her studio (which is still so lovely may I add) Ellie was so accommodating & totally understood the assignment & got the best shots that I had been imagining in my head. She’s 3 years old now and I still adore the images!

On the run-up, she reassured us of her plans to be on call and let us know when to call her (obviously birth is unpredictable)!
On the day (4am!) she answered her phone straight away and hopped in her car as things were moving fast! She arrived at our house as I was starting to feel like he was going to be born (she beat the midwives there!), so things were quite intense! And she set her things up super fast and calmly (& quietly so I wasn’t disturbed). She made sure my phone was recording too.
Once he was born Ellie joined in with our happiness in a lovely way whilst also letting us relax as a family, we didn’t feel like she was intruding at all (very important when you’re naked and pushing out a placenta).
My daughter woke up and came downstairs and Ellie was great with her too and just acted as a fly on the wall mostly but helping us with things if we needed.
We would absolutely recommend Ellie if you wanted someone to document your birth. They are precious photos that you will be amazed to look back on! Thank you Ellie we’re so glad we have these photos 💛
To add as well, Ellie was really respectful and made sure we were happy with any of the photos she shared of the birth.
While in the process of wedding planning, I couldn’t have imagined having such a positive experience with a wedding photographer.
